Motion Design: INSIDE SG Flensburg-Handewitt

From July to November 2020, MWIMMERDESIGN developed motion design for the six-part handball documentary series INSIDE SG Flensburg-Handewitt on behalf of Semicolon GmbH and Amazon Prime Video. Design and production of a graphics package for the six-part sports documentary “Inside SG Flensburg-Handewitt” by Semikolon Digital for Amazon Prime Video.
Client and Project
The client was Semicolon GmbH in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video. For the six-part handball documentary series about SG Flensburg-Handewitt, MWIMMERDESIGN was tasked with developing visual material that would create a distinctive visual identity without detracting from the series’ thrilling footage.
Strategy
The agency developed a subtle, understated design that preserves the documentary’s authenticity and integrates unobtrusively into the production without distracting from the sporting action.
Implementation
The results included a series logo with animation, episode titles featuring scenic motifs, name overlays for individuals, scoreboards, time and location information, as well as opening and closing sequences including credits.
