A Design For Modern-Day Cathedrals
Stadiums, arenas, train stations and airports are the cathedrals of the 21st century. Cathedrals of the 21st Century is a networking platform that brings organisers, financiers and sponsors of major events, such as Olympic Games or world championships, into contact with planners, contractors and operators. The company's first project was a conference for the football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, which took place as part of the trade show BAU 2005.
Intriguingly Independent
mwimmerdesign developed a corporate design for this event that could not only be incorporated into the appearance at BAU 2005, but is also sufficiently self-contained to shape other applications, independent of the trade fair, in a wide variety of media-related permutations.
The memorable and highly-visual conference presence was able to hold its own successfully in an environment such as BAU 2005, and received consistently positive feedback from visitors, conference participants and consultants.
