Independent subsidiary
mwimmerdesign has created a separate image for the gas transport service provider bayernets, a Bayerngas GmbH start-up company. The regulation of the German gas market required the creation of a self-contained subsidiary. A prerequisite for the layout, however, was a recognisable affiliation with its parent company.
The logo's wordmark was put into italics, and the two-tone logo borrowed from Bayerngas. In addition, a picture element was added to the wordmark, visualising the concepts of "distribution", "network", and "nodal point". The colour scheme of orange and grey is also clearly distinguishable from that of Bayerngas GmbH, thereby emphasising the company's originality.
